spring fever

Try this fresh-faced makeup look using 5 key products in 5 easy steps. With coral lips, bright eyes and sun-kissed skin, this glowy look is perfect for any fiesta…from margaritas to movie night!

PREP – If you’re going from your basic daytime look to PM perfection, you’re already halfway there! But if you’re starting out with a bare face, apply concealer and foundation as needed to even out the skin tone, and fill in the brows so you’ve got a gorgeous blank canvas.

cinco de mayo must-haves

Step 1 – Apply a shimmery cream-colored eyeshadow, such as velvet eyeshadow in bikini line, across the entire lid and blend up to the brow bone. Brush a warm golden eyeshadow, like velvet eyeshadow in buns (!), along the entire crease, focusing on the outer third of the eye, and blend up to slightly below the brow bone.

Step 2 – Using a black eyeliner like BADgal liner waterproof, line the upper eyelid and “wing” out slightly at the end. BUZZarella’s fave tip: to make the eyes look bigger, start your liner directly at your pupil (i.e., line only the outer half) instead of drawing along the entire eyelid. It works!

Step 3 – With a nude eye, curling your lashes is a MUST. I’m obsessed with the new Tweezerman for Benefit ProCurl lash curler. Top off with your favorite black mascara.

Step 4 – Dust one hot minute sexy in seconds face powder all over your face. Don’t be shy…it’s hard to overdo this subtle bronze powder!

Step 5 – Grab a pretty coral lip gloss (I used fresh squeezed) and slick over your lips, then dot a few dots on each cheek and blend for a complementary coral blush. The glossy sheen will give your cheeks a natural dewy glow.

everybody say...queso!

Happy Cinco de Mayo, ladies!
