spy vs. spy

Follow these seven steps for a deluxe eye look which uses four eyeshadows, two eyeliners!

a warm take on the classic smoky eye

1. PRIME Begin by priming your lovely lids with stay don’t stray.

2. LINE Using a brown liner (we’re using Benefit BADgal waterproof liner in espresso) fill in the upper lash line. On the lower lash line, draw a line moving from just past the outer corner of the eye, to the inner corner. Connect the upper and lower lash line, making a “wing” that starts from under the eye. Smudge the line moving from the inside of the eye, outward.

step 2: line the eyes

3. SOFTEN Use a brown powder shadow to soften the edges of your lines (we’re using velvet eyeshadow in dandy brandy) by applying it over the eyeliner with a hard angle definer brush.

soften the lines

4.SHIMMER Apply a peach-colored cream eyeshadow (we’re using creaseless cream shadow in sippin’ n’ dippin) on the entire lid–up to the brow bone and blending out the outer corner of your deep brown eyeliner using a concealer brush.

add some peach shimmer

5. HIGHLIGHT Make the brow bone “pop” by using a neutral base powder like velvet eyeshadow in fawn over me. Apply using a fluff shadow brushstarting from the brow and blending downwards and into the brown shadow.

6. DEFINE Apply more dandy brandy brown shadow (from step 3) in the inner corner of the eye. Then use creaseless cream shadow in busy signalin the outer crease of the eyelid.

7. MORE DEFINITION Almost there! Use BADgal liner waterproof in black to line the the top and bottom lash line and finish with a generous coat of they’re real mascara.
