The next dream job in our All in a Daydream’s Work series with Designlovefest is a florist (cue the ultimate flower crown!). For some of us, our green thumbs begin and end with Pinterest boards full of luscious bouquets and lavish centerpieces, while others turn said visual inspiration into actual reality (to which we’re incredibly jealous!). But never fear—regardless of your garden skills, we can all look the part…
On the shoot, we headed up to Griffith Park and photographed Bri in a stunning garden overlooking the Hollywood Hills.
Here’s how we got this “in the garden of good & gorgeous” look…
First thing’s first: complexion. We applied hello flawless oxygen wow liquid foundation to create a luminous complexion. This oil-free formula also has SPF 25 PA+++ for those days spent picking flowers. Next we cleverly covered up any dark spots with our industrial strength concealer boi-ing.
Across her lids, we applied stay don’t stray to ensure her garden-worthy color stays put! With the powder shadow brush, we applied our longwear powder shadow in call my bluff, a pale shell shade, all over her lids. Then, in the creases we applied thanks a latte, a golden brown shade. The obvious choice for mascara: they’re real!
To define her brows with a softer edge, we used instant brow pencil for full, natural-looking brows.
For girly-pink cheeks, we brushed three strokes of posietint on each cheek. The liquid-gel formula add a sweet poppy-pink color and is perfect if you want to add more for a more dramatic cheek color. Followed with a sweep of dandelion face powder, the final look is perfectly-picked perfection!
The final touch was lollibop hot-pink gloss! This shade pulls together the full look.
