HOW TO

Under the Gunn: Into the Dark

Vampires are really having their moment right now. And, you know what? We’re pretty okay with it. So we were beyond excited for this week’s Project Runway: Under the Gunn episode. The designers were asked to create pieces inspired by the new movie Vampire Academy—and even actress Zoey Deutch was a guest judge!

The winning look was absolutely stunning from designer Michelle Überreste. Can we talk about that neckline and peplum shape!? Amazing. With that being said, let the cat eyes, brows and concealer get a little darker & wilder!

HOW TO GET THE LOOK:

Conceal to Heal
Start with your concealer brush to layer fakeup on a little more heavily than you normally would. Remember: this is a vampire-inspired look, so heavy coverage is a must.

Pass the Liner
There’s nothing more serious than walking down the catwalk with a fierce cat-eye. Start with BADgal waterproof liner in black on the waterline of the eye to really make the eyes look mysterious. Then, extend the liner right outside the eye to give you the perfect lift from the corner of your eyes.

Ring the Alarm
An über-arched brow opens up the eye & creates that perfect femme fatale look. Dust brow zings through the arch of your brow, starting with the top first (don’t be afraid to overemphasize the arch). Then, layer gimme brow throughout the entire brow for a full, flawless finish. Finally, suck in those cheeks and contour your face with some hoola. Just because you’re going for a nightwalker look, doesn’t mean you need to lose all the bronzer.
