About 2 weeks ago Annie and I got back from our first ever trip to Brazil and it was incredible! One of the coolest things we did was to film a segment with a local celebrity named Julia Petit. She has a beauty website but also has a hugely popular show called "Base Aliada" on cable where she brings guests into her "world" to talk about beauty, fashion and all things girly and fab-O.

Did anyone catch a glimpse of the they're real Benebabes wandering the frigid NYC streets during Fashion Week?Dressed in glossy pink trench coats, long voluminous hair, fluffy pink ear muffs and of course armed with they're real mascara and exaggerated...I don't even have to say it...these bombshells were hard to miss! The they’re real Benebabes left everyone wondering if “they’re real”!?!
When we first curled up with the creative cats at ModCloth and they told us about their concept for an adorably vintage photo shoot we asked, "will you be our valentine?" and the rest was history. Flash forward to the day of the Girl Meets Glam shoot and it was bouffants, bee hives and vintage boudoir style (read more about it on their awesome blog).
