Disclaimer: before you think I’m totally insane, hear me out…if I am sick, I’m definitely not wearing makeup. In no way am I advocating doing any primping when you’re not feeling well. However, I was faced with this minor beauty dilemma yesterday when I was […]
My good friend Erica got married this past weekend and I had the honor of doing her makeup for the big day. This is now my third time doing a friend's makeup for her wedding and I seem to get more and more nervous each time...I'm not quite sure why?! Maybe because as my own big day quickly approaches (t-minus 3 weeks) the reality that I'm doing a bride's makeup for one of the biggest days of her life becomes more and more clear.
My must-have poolside accessory isn’t my favorite carry-all tote or even sunscreen for that matter (but it should be as this fair freckly skin does need it). Rather my ultimate accessory this summer is lipstick! (truth be told, we were going to do it but they "lost" my before shot so it had to be pulled last minute. That's show biz for you) So here it is.
Check out Benefit’s exclusive Ready…Set…Stay! Eye Trio. As a recent college grad (and makeup addict), I have learned how to spot a great deal. This kit is $26, which is a mere $2 more than a full size stay don’t stray on its own. This exclusive Sephora kit comes with the three products essential to survive the 9 to 5 and beyond: a full size stay don’t stray eye primer, a mini Erase Paste concealer, and a mini creaseless cream shadow in birthday suit.
With NYE coming up, what's the best eye look for making eyes to rope in a midnight smooch? Smoky? Colorful? Cat-eyed? All of the above? What do you think of these eyes eyes eyes...eyes eyes eyes eyes?
My lovely high beam. I. Love. You. As I was dotting and blending the other day, I wondered...did my friends feel the same way I did? The answer: yep. So, today, I conducted a very formal survey at work about high beam love, especially on various skin tones. Here are a few of my findings...
