After 2 years on HSN and many many work photo shoots, there is one thing I've learned....the camera EATS MAKEUP. By that I mean if you want your makeup to show on camera, add as much as you normally would, and then double it. It's something to do with the bright lights and flash. It just blows everything out.
Two days ago a my hubbie came home with a sports accident. The end result, a big ol' fashioned black eye. I decided to work my Benefit magic and use the essential tools for flawless coverage (and believe me, for all those guys and gals that are prone to sporting accidents and bruise like a peach, listen up).
What? It's September? Back to school? Fall? Who knew? This isn't sarcasm people! This season has totally snuck up on me, the following should have given me a clue: 1.) We are actually seeing sun in San Francisco! 2.) Just wrote that dang September rent check... 3.) My teacher friends have replaced mobile uploads of weekday wine tasting trips to funny quotes from their classroom kids 4.) GINORMOUS magazines are hitting the newsstands But really, for those of us who don't live in a four season climate the closest we get to experiencing fall is incorporating the new must have color.
