On moving day, my boyfriend stopped what he was doing and just stared as I set up my makeup drawers & bathroom counter with 20 brushes and all of the Benefit products that I've accumulated over the years. The look of utter confusion that washed over his face when he saw the eyelash curler...priceless. It got me to thinking about guys & makeup. What do they think about our beauty routines? So I asked some dear friends of mine what they think about their women's makeup. Here's what they had to say...

From the time I was 8 years old I spent my summers in Hinsdale, Massachusetts at the greatest all-girls camp; hail Camp Romaca. I learned the most valuable lessons at an early age at that summer haven; how to live with 13 girls in a 5X7 bunk, how to be a great friend, how to eat as many marshmallows in one sitting without getting sick, and lastly how to properly groom as a camper.

Ok, so before I launch into all the benefits of this new skincare routine/lifestyle adjustment that I committed to in last week in last week's post I need to admit something. You know that whole "I'm going to skip out on mid week libations"...well I've done so for the most part, but I cracked on Cinco de Mayo--hey it happens. But I did stick to my guns for the most part. A few weeks ago, I had the greatest night of my life. Now, before you jump to conclusions it involves a sing-a-long and the 80’s classic film Teen Witch. The sing-a-long screening of Teen Witch was slated for 11:00pm and all I could think about was: 1. are my pink lips bright enough? and 2: will my hubbie and his bandwagon of dude-friends be angry with me for dragging them along?
